the things i do during exams

I was letting my poor brain rest from studying the other day and found something I thought was pretty cool!

My own search engine! Hahah.

Sadly, it can't actually search anything. But the one below can.

Look at the cuteee penguins!

Yummy pecan butterscotch birthday cake. Photographing Amelia's alluring/ captivating/ enchanting/ enticing korean-hamster eyes.

soggy

Yes that's how we felt today. Soggy. After a loong break, we climbed Broga Hill again today. And on the way down, the skies decided to open up and it poured. Big fat drops of rain soaked, drenched and froze us. We were covered with mud by the time we got to car. And the irony is, it hasn't rained here in a few long days already. But hey, it's rain, so I'm definitely not complaining. Plus we got to do some walking outside the mall. Of course, after that long wet tiring adventure, we went back home and feasted like royalties, or rather, like our usual selves :D

It's Week 13 already, the last Week 13 in Uni. Everybody in class were high/losing their minds while waiting in between classes. Finals stress, definitely. And probably more. When IF tutorial finally started, Hock Lian, always the good obedient student, sat right in front, just a few steps away from the tutor.

C'mon, at least he sat in front.

little by little

Thursday, 20 August , 2009 - Amy Loke Wai Fong came out with a theory that she told me whilst in the crrazy-fast-paced International Finance lecture earlier. So here's the story. We went to the waterfalls awhile back and while climbing up higher, I kept slipping on the rocks. So I said my feet had no 'bunga' (no grip). So now she has a theory for why my feet is more slippery than normal people. Are you ready for this? Quite astounding actually.

"I think it has eroded cause you spend so much time in the shower."

:)

Oh and btw, please do come for a night of awesome music, drama, dance, goodies, freebies, and basically everything that will guarantee your Saturday night a blast :)

ADORE '09 Youth Concert - A Generation of Hope

tune as old as song

Week 9's overr! That deserves a post AND a celebration all by itself! :D Yess I'm overjoyed! The past 9 weeks can be summed up in 2 words- WORKLOAD & STRESS. Hah. 'Nuff said. But it was a productive week, or at least it felt like it was. We finished up 2 assignments in the first 2 days of Week 9, kinda. And D stress itself- MADM mid-term is finally over and done with! Let me hear you say PHEW.

This weekend finally really felt like the weekends. I slept in, woke up for lunch, and took a nap right after. I've missed feeling useless. Then we had a big dinner to celebrate my parents' 23rd anniversary while the roads in KL were bustling with police cars and FRUs. After dinner we were supposed to go for ice-cream but distraction midway led us to donuts instead. And it's official, J.Co has the best yogurt in town! Why has nobody ever told me that? Oh, and there was still ice-cream after that.

Today, a few of us decided to watch Ghost Of Girlfriends Past just because. It wasn't all that great. I had roti telur for the first time in a very very long while for dinner. That was great.

Week 10's in a few hours, and there's no other way to start than with MADM tutorial. I wonder why my tutor is still on msn now. One more assignment to go, thesis and then finals. But that's too far ahead. Yay Week 10 :)

happiness is

the very strong bond that develops almost impossibly instantaneuosly among the whole accounting course when news that only ever happen in dreams and fairytales breaks such as a (killer) mid-term test gets postponed to make way for a tea meeting with the president :)

Of course, postponing one thing can only mean delaying it and dealing with that one thing+more things later.

Week 9 = 3 assignments + 1 presentation + (new) 1 test.

But still, if you're human you can't help but jump with joy at such news! Here's a (tea) toast to you Mr President!

*jackson said he'll kiss the president :p
