you make me smile

As I'm writing this, I'm bubbling with excitement and joy!hehe my 3 weeks holiday is coming to an end (not just yet), and this is probably the only holiday I've had that didn't involve a single moment of boredom. I was well kept occupied, and since my dear friends (you get to meet them later on) want a long blogpost out of me, i shall let my creative juices flow and give you highlights here and there!

The morning of the first day after the last paper, my mom decided to fly off to australia that evening itself. That left me with the duty of driving my sisters around and my part of the house chores, which brought about 2 revelations, sweeping was not meant for me and my sister is an underdog iron-er.

In the first 2 weeks also, i had a wonderful friend who bought us baskin robbins after dinner after getting her paycheck earlier (I have the most amazing friends=)), hung out at a new found mamak which name creepily bore resemblance to a particular penyelia petang in school last time. These are the friends that make me laugh till my stomach hurts everytime we meet. Like, a friend of my friend was punished to wear a tudung for not putting her hair in a bun while doing practical at HKL (cue to laugh). And it's nice to have an insider view of what goes on behind the scenes in the media world- I would never survive there, and that's why I'm really proud of how my friend handles everything being the only girl in her team! (though i think they recently recruited another girl, but still) I'm missing you girls already.

The last 2 days were spent with 2 of my 'eating buddies'. I will not go into details, but let's just say, we can really eat=) There were many 'moments' but I'll just fast forward to my favourites. On the first day, we went into an esprit place and within seconds of walking in, I look over to Amelia whose hands are now filled with clothes and she was so excited going "ohmygosh, I already have 5 pieces to try and I'm only at the first rack!" I really couldn't stop laughing. I love you Amelia..hehe (btw, she ended up not getting anything from there)

After pigging out (and i mean really pigging out) on the first day, we decided to be ladies again and share one large meal for lunch the next day. Needless to say, our stomachs were more willful than our intentions. We had a set each.

We needed pictures as we were on a 'mission', and since we didn't want to get somebody to take back-to-back pictures of us, we settled the camera on Fong's shoe box and snapped away. When we reach the royal family portrait, we were happily posing when 2 men walk passed and found us amusing and decided to take one shoebox-free picture for us, yaY!

Oh, I also went to the clinique counter to redeem some stuff, and i really thought all 'redeem' involves was giving her the redeem card, getting my stuff and go. But no, the lady had to sit me down, and the asking-questions-part was fine until she asked "Does your skin get burned easily under the sun?" Apparently my "No" answer wasn't satisfactory, and she kept asking the same question over and over again, more persistently each time, and only stopped after i said no for about the 100th time (Fong joined in). When she left for a brief moment, i could not stop laughing. I know it's rude to laugh at people, but seriously.

There's really no need for me to tell you everything, it's already written down from 2 different perspectives, go to Fong's and Amelia's and enjoy our pretty pictures all over again=D (or just go to fb)

We really took too little pictures of food in the big scale of everything we ate in 2 days

come on, everybody plays with their food

puddles everywhere=a picure-perfect sight of 3 girls jumping around

Fong at the wheels ready to make a turn at a not-too-spacious-parking-area while smiling for the camera. She's superwoman.

What we've become in just 2 days

On a completely different matter, I not only passed all my papers (I do not deserve this, considering how I studied co. tax only the night before), I'm still holding on to my scholarship. And don't get me wrong, I am in no way suggesting I'm a genius, in fact I'm far from that. I'm kind of stressed right now to do better in the coming semester. The last few months have been a rollercoaster in every sense, and definitely the toughest sem so far. But that is why I am extremely grateful to Him for being so faithful to me even when i am not. It was definitely not my efforts that deserve those results, and not my answers that deserve those grades. Thank You Lord for your grace to me=)

I'm liking this whole colourful-highlighted post style (after Fong and Amelia also highlighted theirs..hehe), dont you?
