at the ending of the rainbow, where the mountains touch the sky

I've been waiting for the weekends to come all this week (at least since Tuesday). This is the toughest week so far in my 3 years and 5 weeks in UTAR. The past few days have been so stressful it's worthy of a blogpost all by itself. 5 midterms are coming up, 5 assignments are due subject after subject, and if that's not enough, we have to blog about E-commerce every week. BUT..........,that is NOT what's causing all the stress that has been making me fat and sleep deprived. You see, our proposal brief for our thesis has been rejected four times this week (and since Monday was a holiday, everything happened within 4 days). Let me repeat myself- FOUR times in FOUR days for reasons beyond our comprehension. And let me tell you, writing it four times again and again and more demotivated each time will cause all the tension and force to go right up to your head and booM! Ok maybe not exactly but you get the point. And if that's not bad enough, I now permanently have my name listed in the Rejected Proposal Brief in WBLE. And of course we don't have a supervisor so we can't go on anyway anyhow.

I'm sorry if you had to read all that pessimism. To think that this is only the start of our year-long thesis. I'm so tired. On the bright sight, I'm thankful for amazing group mates who are supportive and always willing to go the extra mile to put in more work and not add to the stress level. I'm thankful for my mom who chose this week to bake the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. I'm thankful for friends who thought long-term and got me ferrero rochers (explains the making me fat part). I'm thankful that the new season of Ugly Betty started this week. I'm thankful it's Friday.

I'm too tired to even rant about those bad days.
So glad it's over and we've got our supervisor.
Sigh... Midterm this Saturday.
